You need a high-risk OB. Contact Woman's Hospital, on Fannin. I dealt with a Dr. Robert--Richard? Carpenter, but I think he's retired by now. You need to be in the medical center, don't be put off by the extra distance, etc, you will not find the type of doctor you are looking for elsewhere. Good luck!

Miscarriages are simply a part of IVF. I'm sorry but it's true. Pregnancy via IVF is still very much in its infancy and more due to 'luck' than much else in my opinion. There's still only so much a doctor can do if you've done all the regular tests (sperm count, cervix/womb check). 4 miscarriages sounds expensive - you may want to consider a donor for either her or you depending on who is the weaker party in the fertility game...

My wife and I had good luck with a Dr at Frisco Fertility Center on Legacy Drive if you are looking for a new doctor to try.

Good luck!
