Central Market by far for free samples on Saturday and Sunday lunch. It's like a full meal of delicious crazy food. Yes I would like some steak, shrimp, wine, chocolate, cheese, fruit and bread while shopping.

Overall I like Whole Foods best, mainly because the stores are clean and the service is usually good.

I live in West Plano and havent found a store that consistently has all the things we need. My wife shops Central Market, Costco, and Kroger and uses Kroger as the Primary store of things but it isnt always in stock at the one near NDT and Parker. What are the best grocery stores near West Plano? When TJ's opens we will use it like Central Market as a specialty store and Costco for some staples but need a go to store with the breadth and stock of things not needed routinely any guidance is appreciated

That's why I like Kroger too. I get coupons from them in the mail which prove useful, and their stores (at the my local one) is way cleaner than many others. Plus a manageable size too, some stores are too large for quick shopping.

Costco
Central Market
Sprouts
Aldi
Rio Grande/El Rancho

The store that I dislike the most is Walmart, since I don't really find them to be cheaper, the check out lines are always incredibly long, the store itself is very crowded, I have to park a mile away from the entrance, and it's messy.... Just had to add that in.

I should add that I also shop at Aldi and Sprout's, a couple of times a month.

Walmart? Never.

Kroger for every day stuff. Central Market and Wholefoods for special items, though I also like to pick up some regular products (HEB stuff) from Central Market. I try to avoid Tom Thumb, but since I'm surrounded by them I will go just to get milk or something. Prices there are way too high.

Market Street just because it is the only place that I know of that carries El Pinto Red Chile Sauce.

Tom Thumb for main grocery shopping

Albertsons to pick up something quick (it's the closest to me)

Central Market when I need/want something special or unusual or I can't find it someplace else

Fiesta from time to time because of the great international selection (they also have great produce)
