Hello all, for the ones who are knowledgeable about the many areas of Dallas (DFW), can you name all of the highways (or the ones you are familiar with) including the areas they lead you to? For example, US 67 south takes one towards the cedar hill/midlothian/cleburne areas while I-20 can take you to x,y,z....makes sense? I live in the Dallas area but would like to know the complete list of highways and what areas I get to from there, as I know it will come in handy for directions and such in my future (I plan on bookmarking this thread). Thankyou very much in advance :-)

Yea I suppose I could use that eh? lol. It's too tedious and I rather have a comprehensive list rather than a wide map where I have to really concentrate and follow said highway.

Where are you coming from? It's so expansive here a list (I think) would be impossible. We used to have MAPSCO, which was awesome for untangling routes, but it's gone.

Just zoom out so you can see a map of the entire area...Google maps is very user friendly(and addicting)you'll love it.

MAPSCO is actually still around; I just looked. It's under the umbrella of something called the Kappa Map Group now. But I bet they took a severe hit when Google Maps and Mapquest came around; I used to buy their street guides every few years, but there's probably not a really good reason to now unless you're an old-school delivery person (the big guide certainly is easier to read at stoplights than an iPhone screen).

From years of looking at maps when I was younger (map nerd), I've become a human road map for many different cities. I don't get lost.

I'm a huge map nerd. Glad I'm not the only one!
