Hexter Elementary, which is a Hill feeder school, is excellent. Maybe you can get a transfer. Many of the Hexter kids seem to be able to get a transfer to J. L. Long Middle School to avoid Hill. That may become easier as Long transitions into an IB World School, because that IB MYP curriculum is not offered anywhere else.

I just got two of my sons into a private school THIS WEEK. It can be done! It just takes a lot of hours--researching, visiting schools, making your case to the administrators.

If you're renting and before you go looking for private schools, figure the cost difference between moving (breaking a lease if necessary) and the cost for 2 in private school for the year (can 2 private school tuitions be less than $15k???
