Have family moving in to work in the medical district area , and am looking for recommendations on safe neighborhoods that are reasonably priced ( under 150k ) within about a 20 minute commute.

My wife went to UTSW and we owned a house in Carrollton. The commute almost killed her. I wouldn't recommend the commute north.
