Hi,
I just got a job in grand prairie so i am looking to move from north texas to a closer area.
I dont want to spend more than 1000 but I want something nice. I have 2 dogs and enjoy running so i would like to be near a park. I am 25 years old but do not care about the frat/sorority type of hang out. I would rather be close to an artistic and musical part of town but without sacrificing my own safety.
I would like to have an easy commute to work, but want to be close enough to dallas that I can easy go to any part in a reasonable amount of time. It takes me about 30 to 50 min now.

Please Help!!!

If you're looking in North Oak Cliff, Good Space has some rehabbed older buildings near the Bishop Arts District that are kind of cool. You're close to I-30 for the commute into Grand Prairie.

Downtown, Oak Lawn, and the design district are good options too.

I'm not saying I would live there, but CityWalk @ Akkard has affordable apartments in DTD. Not too far from the Arts District and a quick commute to GP:
