If you are considering a move to Celina, check out the taxes and the utility costs, especially water.
School taxes are insane, because the place spends WAY too much money on their athletic program.
Water costs are the highest in north Texas because the citizens are being burdened with the insane cost of an almost useless City Park. Aside from that, the department is run by incompetents. They expect you to chase them down to pay your bill, whether they have issued one or not and they cannot even keep track of how much water you really use! They installed all new electronic reporting devices and they cannot even maintain them to keep them operating!
CAVEAT EMPTOR in spades! Had we known what we know now, we would NEVER have bought a home here!
