Hi, my family and I are moving to the US in May next year. Excited about the move and getting things organised now. Looks like we will be looking for a home in the Flower Mound or Keller areas.

My question today is about my 10 year old son. He plays soccer for a club in UK and I am interested in how things are set up in the US, and how can I get him into a club there. Are sports linked to the school system more or are there local youth soccer teams that I can enrol him in?

I tried to get some info from the soccer development association but so far nobody emailed me back. Would appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Thanks.

Many schools have soccer teams and club soccer is massive around here. As kids get older the best players tend to play school and club soccer.
