Hello everyone,
I’m moving back to Texas in 2013 and I’m very curious about Grand Prairie, South Arlington and Mansfield. I’ve visited some areas in Mansfield and Grand Prairie but I have little knowledge of the areas. I particularly LOVED Grand Peninsula and Mira Lagos in South GP but now that I have a new family I’m really concerned about the school district. I really want to get a lot of house for my money which is why I’m looking into these areas. Can anyone comment on these areas? I’ve read different comments on Mansfield ISD, some good and some not too good. Can someone give me an idea what is it like living in these cities. Although my children are very young, I need to be in good school district as we would like to buy a home. What do I need to know about these cities?
Please note the following:
1. I will mostly be working from home and I can either choose office locations in Arlington, N. Fort Worth, or Downtown Dallas
2. Our budget is Max 350,000
3. We would like to be close to amenities and shopping
Positive comments are welcomed…thanks!
***Note, that this question was posted in the Fort Worth forum.

None of those school districts are known to be top tier. That, and location are why you get more house for the money down there.

To the OP:

Downtown Dallas office:
Plano ISD
Coppell ISD
Sunnyvale ISD
Richardson ISD

North Fort Worth Office:
Grapevine/Colleyville ISD
Keller ISD
HEB has better schools than Mansfield IMO

Arlington Office:
HEB schools
Grapevine/Colleyville ISD
