Are there any dog parks anywhere in the DFW area or Southern Towns within 40 miles of Dallas?

I'm sure there are a couple over in Dallas, but since you mentioned within 40 miles, I thought I'd let you know that there is one at Gateway Park in Fort Worth off of Beach. It's called, ever so cleverly, Fort Woof Dog Park, feel free to do a Google search for it. I'm sure there are others closer to you as well.

Yes, there is one in Dallas I just can not think of the name of it or its exact location right now. It is near the 75-Central/Mockingbird/Knox-Henderson area I believe.

there are many doggie parks. i've been to a few with friends! don't have pets but i see the parks! in texas this is no issue. we have so many large open fields etc...!

The biggest and best one is White Rock Lake Dog Park. The link Alancbapx gave will show you the others (there are three total as of my last search, which was yesterday). Here's a link to dog parks in other towns, some far but several that are suburbs of DFW:
