I appreciate all that everyone has given me in the past but I do have a few more questions. Have seen the area twice now and we are set on the Fairview/Lucas/Parker areas. We want country/rural and a nice home on large lot. However, schools are very important. I have kids in elementary school. They are good students, but not the "straight A" type. One has ADHD, so that is a major concern. Im concerned about Loveyjoy because it offers only AP type classes in HS. I know thats several years off but its an issue since we want to stay long term in Dallas area. Im afraid Plano schools are too
large and kids get lost there. I also see that some homes in Parker use
Allen schools.

Bottom line: need great school system that works with kids that need the
extra help. I just dont want them to be "another number". We are currently
coming from an exemplary school district out of state w/6000 students.

Allen High School is huge as well. You might look at one of the LD/ADHD private schools. These affluent academically competitive public schools are really tough for the learning different kids. If you just don't buy as much house in the first place you can swing the hefty tuition of private.

Could you give me the names of some private LD/ADHD schools you are referring to?
