Hello! Im new to the forum and was hoping someone could help me out as I will be relocating soon. I havent found much information about Euless and was wondering what kind of town it is. We have somewhat of a unique situation because my husband accepted a job nearby already and ended up picking an apartment without me being there. I was close to giving birth at the time and didnt want to travel! I will be heading down there at the end of the month. The apartment is on Fuller-Wiser Rd. if that means anything. Any feedback about Euless or the area is greatly appreciated Im not really sure what to expect right now as I dont know much about the area.

Thanks so much for your help!

Nothing wrong with Useless......err, Euless. It is not too far from Grapevine and Southlake which offer pretty good shopping and restaurants. Its near the airport and is served by decent schools. Its a bedroom community w/o much of a "town" feeling. Euless, Bedford and Hurst are all intertwined.

Fuller -Wise is long street--lots of apartments along it
some nice and some probably not so nice
it probably get some jet noise because of location closer to DFW

north part of Euless rated much nicer than south part--closer to freeway/183, more likely not so nice...

Hi Emmalee26,

I was looking for information on Euless and came across this post of yours.

Did you move to fuller-wiser road in Euless? How do you find the place and Euless in general? What apartment did you rent and how is the apartment - service, people, safety, kids area, gated etc.? Any info would be useful since we are planning to move to Euless and do not have much idea.

It will be great if there are any decent cost-effective (2BR ~$800) apartment rental(s) with walking distance to grocery shop(s) and elementary school(s) in Euless.

Are there public bus service?

I know this thread is almost a year old. But hoping to get some input!

No, there is no public transportation in Euless. There are very few cities besides Fort Worth in Tarrant County that have public transportation.

The apartments along Fuller-Wiser and Bear Creek are all fairly new and nice. It's a quiet area; "bedroom community" is an accurate description.

Schools in Euless are the HEB ISD, or if north of Mid-Cities Blvd, they are Grapevine Colleyville ISD. Both districts have a good reputation, and GCISD is usually better-regarded.

Good luck with your move!

I live right across the street from some of those apartments on Fuller Wiser. The apartments aren't walking distance to any real grocery option unless you're towards the south end of the apartment string near Harwood. Then you're about a mile from Kroger. I can't speak for the apartments in the HEB ISD but the ones in Grapevine ISD are just over a mile to the elementary school. I personally consider that walkable but not in the send-kids-off-by-themselves sense. Other parents thing I'm crazy for walking that "far." The biggest perk to living in that area IMHO is the system of parks around Bear Creek. There are about 4 playgrounds, multiple miles of walking trail, a dog park, and some beautiful scattered right along there stretching pretty much all the way from 360 to Industrial Blvd.
