President Obama as well as Former President Clinton, Carter, Goerge Bush Sr will attend the Goerge W. Bush Library opening in Dallas at or around SMU April 25th.

'Presidents Club' to Reunite at Opening of George W. Bush's Library | TIME.com

I'm just posting this to inform people so they can be prepared, so Please keep this civil and non political. If you have never been near or around a sitting President, they generally keep a large area blocked off, can be a mile radius. This doesn't mean you want be allowed access to your homes an such but it can be a pain.

And remember the route they take from the airport will be closed.

Meh. Shrug. Yay. I won't be there and won't be anywhere near it on the day it opens. I plan to take my dad there once the crowds have thinned out; unusually for a Jew, he's a hardcore conservative Bush fan. I'm not, but I love my dad more than I dislike Bush so I will suck it up and take him.

Regardless of one's political outlook, having a presidential library/center in town is pretty cool.

Yes, it is! It also is very rare and awesome to host an event with every living US President in attendance.

I went to the dedication of the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station in 1997. It was amazing to see so many presidents and and their family members at one time. Reagan was in too poor health to attend, but I was able to see: President Clinton, President George H. W. Bush, President Carter, Nancy Reagan, Lady Bird Johnson, Governor George W. Bush, and Jeb Bush.

Yup, they blocked off a mile of highway at a time for Bush when he visited Midland. We also ran into Bush in Tucson where they actually started putting out cones a day or two before the event.

Yes, George W. Bush will be at said event. I mentioned President Obama because of the commotion a sitting President will make attending such an event.
