The Bethany elementary area is extremely demanded , the entire neighborhood is like a village in itself ,it is probably the most community/ family driven area in Plano. People do not move once they are there and houses do go for sale extremely fast . I would recommend that area above any other area for a middle class neighborhood. Most of my friends live in there and just love it , some do have their children transferred just to be part of that neighborhood .

Villas of Chapel Hill and PrestonWood Hills feed to exampalary Barksdale Elementary and coveted Renner/Shepton/Plano West Senior High, fabulous area, fantastic location to commute anywhere, tons of shopping nearby including Willowbend Mall, Costco, Sprouts, Kroger, Walmart, Target, Home Depot etc. Dozens of restaurants at walking distance. You can walk to school as well. Hospitals, medical offices, bank, golf course, park pharmacy, nature reserve, churches, Montessori all walkable. Homes a little expensive for obvious reasons but worth it and good resale.

For apartments, I would choose Lincoln Town Square. Its a short distance from 121 and North Dallas Tollway and very convenient to major employers and AMC mall, Sams Club, Wal Mart and so on.
For day cares, I highy recommend Alpha Montessori. This is on Ohio & Rasor. Its a brand new building and they have a new concept for playground with outdoor learning and a natural surrounding. Veyr highly rated montessori day care.

@onlysunny Lincoln Town Square falls under FISD - Riddle/Fowler/Liberty.

I looked at Montessori's in 75024..plenty of them...all seem to be same.
