I would think so since that's where the surrounding homes feed into. I would assume that these will be "upscale" apartments and will not be Section 8 or low income housing, so there really shouldn't be a negative effect on the schools.

The only ISD in the area with no apartments at all is Southlake.

Would REALLY help a lot if you could tell us where in the heck you are referring to. Very few here could tell you where Glade or Heritage is without looking it up. Dallas is huge.

I meant to tell you that there are already a LOT of apartments that feed into CHHS. The GCISD boundary includes Euless north of MidCities Blvd, and there are a bunch of apartments along MidCities near 360.

Thanks ChristieP. I know there are many apartement complexes near GCISD that feed GCISD schools, but heritage elem/middle/high were mostly fed by homes and till now only one apt complex Lincoln Vineyards.

Not true at all. The part of Euless that is east of 360 and north of MidCities also feeds in to CHHS, and there are a ton of apartments there.

Default From someone in the neighborhood.

These apartments are called "Suite 2801 Apartments". They are upscale. The school district is GCISD but they do not go to Heritage Elementary where the surrounding homes do. They go to Grapevine Elementary and Bear Creek Elementary, Heritage Middle and CHHS.
