Please put these schools in order academically from best to least best:

Greenhill
Ursuline
Trinity Christian Academy
Parish Episcopal School
Hockaday

I got into Ursuline yesterday, but basically I just wanted to know. Thanks!

Also, you may optionally rate each one (academically) on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).

I agree with this ranking, with the added comment that Ursuline is closer to Greenhill than it is to Parish. And it's WAY above TCA. Unless you're waiting on other schools' decisions, I would accept and never look back! I have several good friends who are Ursuline alumnae and absolutely loved it!

1. You got into UA be happy and stop fixating over tiny differences and the biases/opinions of others.
2. As an excellent student, UA would not have late-admitted you into 10th otherwise, the school will challenge you.
3. Recalling the other thread....if you enroll at UA HS is very unlikely to admit you for the next year. The reverse would be true also.

Given all that and putting on my John Nash/Oskar Morgenstern competitive game theory hats: you've been accepted to UA so you must go to UA. The risk vs. benefit matrix of waiting for a possible HS admit the next year is a losing proposition.

1. Study like crazy for the rest of this school year.
2. Call UA and arrange a partial or full day visit.
3. Hit school full throttle next fall, contend for NMSF status, then hammer the SAT/ACT, keep your grades up, go to one of your top three college selections and change the world - simple.

You are going to thrive.

Hockaday and then UA. But I agree with TC and EDS- go to UA, save the money, and have a great high school!
