I was wondering if you locals have full service laundromats that are open 24/7?

On weekends I don't like doing laundry, and would rather not spend my entire morning/afternoon doing laundry and waiting for it to dry etc. Are there laundromats where I can drop off my clothes and have them washed, dried, and folded?

How much do your local dry cleaners charge to launder dress shirts, and to straight up dry clean them?

I've never seen a 24 hour Washateria in Dallas. Usually, they close at 9 or 10 o'clock.

I only know of one laundry place over in East Dallas. I'm guessing they're more prevalent in low income neifhborboods here since 99.999% of apartments & houses have W/D connections or a laundry room in the building. Dallas is nothing like NYC with regards to amount of services and 24/7 availability.

Thanks....I hear ya on those points! My main thing is being able to easily find someone to do my laundry for me on the weekends so that I can go about my day and do other things than to be held prisoner at home by my washer/dryer...and I don't mind paying for the service as long as its reasonably priced.

There are laundromats where you can drop off your clothes and they'll deal with them. Not sure what part of town you're in but, if you're in Oak Lawn/Uptown area, when my dryer stopped working, I had OK luck with S&J Laundry near the corner of Maple and Inwood, near the Race-Trac gas station. They're not open 24 hours but bring them your laundry, and they'll wash, dry and fold them. They charge by the pound. Or, you can use their washers and dryers yourself.

Yes those prices are pricey...just as pricey as Manhattan prices!

Out where I live its $5 to dry clean a shirt, and just $1.50 to launder and iron a shirt

I'm hoping to be somewhere in West Plano.
