Hello,

I will be moving to the Arlington, Tx area Mid-June 2013 and I need some advice! I am a 19 year old college student and will be working fulltime & also attending school. I am looking for a 1 bedroom apt under $530.00 around the Arlington, Irving areas? I would like to live somewhere safe & I like to exercise so somewhere that has trails or sidewalks. I am unfamiliar with the DFW metro area, so any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!

My commute will depend on which job I choose, so either NE FT. Worth near North Richland Hills, or Carrollton.

Carrollton to Arlington would not be a good commute. You would be fighting traffic, and/or having to use toll roads, which get expensive! Choose the NRH location.

You also might want to live a little further north to shorten that commute. Euless has lots of affordable, safe apartments. Your price range may be a little tough...

Most apartments in the north east area of Collins and Green Oaks Blvd are pretty decent in Arlington. I lived there for about three years and it was pretty safe.
