We just visted from out of town and after looking at the areas that meet our budget/distance criteria we really like The Colony (nearest the lake) we were there Friday at commute time and then off and on saturday and would like to know how it really to live in the community. We have read previous post about the age of the homes and lack of shopping and restraunts but we live in a similar type community so it doesnt bother us that much we kind of like the "set apart-ness". Thanks

The Colony is a great place to live, the schools are alright but most of the neighbors are easy-going and are easy to get along with... depending on where you live there will be the occasional lawn parties but they normaly keep the music fairly low. The cops here are a little tight so if you have kids make sure they are in by curfew to avoid taking a trip down to the police station to pick them up....

... other than a few retards here and there TC is a great place to move into if you move in i hope you enjoy your stay.
