We will be in-between homes during the month of August as we relocate to North Dallas. We are looking for a dog friendly, furnished short term apartment or extended stay hotel that is relatively quiet and in good repair. 2 bedrooms. W. Plano or North Carollton. Any recommendations?

Hi monthaven,
How many days/months do you plan to stay?

There are a couple of extended stay type places along 121 in The Colony, which is very close to Carrollton and West Plano. There is one on the Tollway just near Frankford, I believe, too. I'm not sure if either allows pets, though. The one along the Tollway is definitely a much nicer one than the Colony one that comes to mind, but likely pricier, too.

You could also try an apartment locator. Many apartments have furnished corporate suites.

There is a Candlewood Suites hotel at the corner of Legacy and Ohio in West Plano.
