Good AND economical? Best Buy is probably your best choice, but their work leaves a lot to be desired.

I go to Texas Audio, which is right off 635 in Garland. They do very good work and are very friendly and knowledgeable. I also like that they can give you several options for what you want depending on what you are wanting to spend.

Thanks for the suggestions.

A related thread seems to be useful too

I am trying to be as knowledgeable as possible, so that I can make right choice. Basically, I need to know other than Receiver (CD/MP3 Players) and speaker what are the components that make up of.

Definitely, I would need to replace the receiver and I am thinking the speaker need not be replaced.

I bought a used car 3 years back and the audio was not playing. I went to audio shop and he removed some audio components & installed receiver. However, I am not having a good listening experience at all.
