True, I wish a developer would come in and level Mount Auburn area. Would be a great area to re-develop. I'm guessing the Houston Heights area looked similar before it got nice.

It's still a bargain compared to HP/UP, and I'd rather be in Lakewood anyway.

I loved San Francisco, another city that continuously makes me wonder why I still live in Dallas. I had a job offer out there a few years ago, but even the increase in pay was quite enough to justify the move.

Lakewood has great public transit - its between the major Highways and has good surface options.

Lakewood is about as far from a highway as you can be in the Metroplex.

And everyone here knows that highways do not equal public tranist.

I can't believe anyone would consider a highway to be 'public transit'.
