Garland is one of those cities that has the bad and the good. I’ve seen nice neighborhoods in the north and in the south. The middle is some what fuzzy to me. Is the Centerville area bad ? I heard some bad reps but someone said it’s just old and that Garland is revitalizing the city in various up coming projects.

What cross street? South Garland is in the early stages of revitalization, particularly the 635 corridor. The city itself is clamping down on run down properties. In some troubled neighborhoods such as Monica park citizens formed a crime watch group, and more.
