My parents 25th wedding anniversary is coming up and I would like to pay for them to do something together. Problem is that I am having trouble coming up with ideas...so I was wondering if anyone had any advice.

They both love wine and fine dining, so I was thinking of getting some type of wine tasting set up for them or somehow paying for them to go out to a nice dinner. I was also thinking of getting them a nice hotel in Dallas, but nothing seems spectacular at the moment.

Does anyone have suggestions or stories of really fun things in dallas that they have found to do?

I like to drink wine and one weekend I have been thinking of doing that your parents might like is a wine tasting weekend at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine.

The cost is $360 for a a night, breakfast, bottle of wine in the room and free tastings at 4 or 5 winneries around Grapevine.

The following is the link to the package.

For something a little lower in cost look in the Dallas Morning News Weekender you will find quite a few special dinner & wine combo meals at some really nice resturants.

send them to the mansion on turtle creek in dallas! they can also visit the neighboring uptown neighborhood with all its many shops, art galleries, and restaurants. you should also look into the boutique hotel zaza (also in uptown).. lots of stars stay there when they're in town.

To add to these suggestions, why not hire a limo to take them out and about town. That is such a nice thing to do for them too, they will remember that forever.
