Starck was many things to many people but to me it was always about the music. Here is a glimpse of songs I remember and the memories they created.

Enjoy.

Same! When "I'm losing you" comes on my first instinct is still to jump up and start dancing, but I'm old and dealing with a sciatica flare-up, so I have to do a little chair dance.

Default starck narc

so who was the narc that ended the era of xtc nights and was a legend for sometime in song as well.... Confetti's was my grounds and was soon swarmed by undercovers. 1985 was such a time.. age is also not necessary.. if you were there, you know. I'm looking for play lists of the era.. american soviets by CCCP and the such.. My mind isn't what it use to be.. an input will help.

>> Confetti's<<

Where was this? I went in the summer of 85 when visiting a friend and not familiar with Dallas at the time.

Confetti was located south of Lover's Lane off Greenville - now approximately the back of Central Market.

Lowest McKinney Avenue. (703 McKinney). It is the first building north of Woodall Rogers from the West End.

It is south of Victory Park and the House of Blues.

My last memory of Starck Club was when it was Area 51 (2001-2003) & European Trance music, which was something brand new for Dallas pulsated through the walls & sunken dance floor of the Starck. E was alive & well back then too. Dj's like Brad F kept the place flowing with energy.

That is the location of the old Starck Club. Confetti's was over off of Greenville Ave (see Lakewooder's post). Monopoly was close not too far from Confetti's off of Greenville on Northwest Hwy.
