A) Chicago (actually not born there, but lived almost all of my youth there)
B) almost 3 years
C) preferably splitting time between northern Oregon coast (somewhere between Astoria and Tillamook, most likely) and New Zealand (either Kaikoura on the south island or Coromandel Peninsula on the north island), flying back and forth every equinox so as to avoid winters at each location.

I would live in Austin over Dallas. I think the Austin landscape is a little nicer. I find Dallas to be a concrete jungle. I generally like the weather in Texas. However, the attitudes are better in the South (Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina).

I think Florida is great for vacationing, but not to live; it's full of retired snow birds. Also, it's very humid and crowded during the summer.

I was born in Asia, grew up in LA and Lived in dfw for 3+ years. Very thankful that I found Dallas and Texas. This is the place where the American dream still lives and the secret to early retirement. I plan to have a family here but I want to retire in Hawaii if I make enough money in the next 25 years
