I'm a single male, who is 30, and am English/Spanish bilingual. English is my native language, but I have spent time in Latin America. For a white person, I am rather Hispanic looking with dark brown hair and dark eyes.

The 2010 Census says that Dallas is 42% Hispanic. However, I am having difficulty meeting Hispanic women in this city. It seemed easier to meet Hispanic women when I lived in Phoenix.

I live primarily amongst white people north of downtown but south of 635. I think this is part of my problem meeting Hispanic women. My hobbies are active, as I can frequently be found at the gym and playing tennis.

My question is: Where do I meet Hispanic women in their 20s in this city? I have a few ideas including going grocery shopping at Fiesta Market, but I don't think I can rely on that alone. I would greatly prefer in person means of meeting people, as I think online dating isn't the best way to form relationships, and men are at a tremendous disadvantage in that format. Anyway, it seems like more white women do that, and it's not tremendously difficult to meet white women in person. Meetup groups and Uptown bars don't seem to be tremendously Hispanic either.

Thank you for reading and making suggestions.

Try Glorias in Addison during latin nights with live salsa music. The girl to guy ratio is like 7:1.

For Gloria's though, make sure you're dressed nicely and look like you have the ability to spend a little coin on drinks for yourself and the ladies. I've heard they get a little choosy on salsa nights, and will use wardrobe to deny you if they want to.

I'd give meetup a 2nd chance. It doesn't matter that the majority of women aren't hispanic. There's enough for you to choose from. The presence of white girls means that some of your male competition will be hitting on them, making your pursuit of hispanic girls easier. But if you go this route, try and be friendly with everybody, and don't come off as the guy just looking to score, unless the meetup is specifically designed to target dating.
