My wife and I are possibly moving to Dallas. She has a degree in interpreting/translating for Spanish and I have a degree in Landscape/horticulture, my question is how the job market is down there? I want to get out of Minnesota and work more year round doing what I love.

The job market here is much better than most big cities. Houston is also doing great jobs wise. The word is out however and many are moving here for jobs. The DFW metro area is huge, larger than some NE states, so its ideal to have a job nailed down when you move here. Houston has a longer growing season than DFW is that makes a difference in your work. Both DFW and Houston are highly diverse so language skills such as your wife's will be found either spot.

Good luck with your decision and welcome to Texas should you decide to move down and join us in this great place to live.
