Hey everyone, how is the drive from DAL Airport (where Southwest flies) to the place where JFK was shot (I assume this is it). I haven't Googled yet, but figured I'd ask here. I'm from FW and will pick up a friend from DAL and he said he'd like to check out the memorial/museum about JFK in Dallas. Thanks.

Yes, it is Dealey Plaza. The drive from Dallas Love Field to Dealey is not long at all. Your friend could very well fly right over it coming in for landing or leaving when taking off. Though there is no straight shot from Love to Dealey Plaza.

Thanks for the input. From that Web site (jfk.org), I Googled the address and got directions to it from DAL. Google Maps claims it's a 15 min. drive - we'll see. I plan on making it on a Fri. early afternoon. I'm a bit concerned about traffic. Not to mention when we head back to FW that evening!

You can go from Love Field to Dealey Plaza on your way to I-30 to head west to FW. Love Field and Dealey are not that far from each other. I can look out my highrise downtown and see both of them from the window - Dealy Plaza and the runways of Love Field.

^ Thanks, FND. That sounds like a great location you're in, at least in terms of a nice view.

I've never been to DAL (Love Field) Airport before, so hopefully it's pretty easy to navigate. I figure it can't be anymore complex than DFW Airport.
