Hello! My husband has been selected for a position at the VA medical center. May someone give me information on the best places to live near the medical center? We have 2 kids and would like to know about the schools in the area as well.

Thank you
-b

That's in a fairly "rough" area. How long is he willing to travel for work? Also what are you all like(conservative, eccentric, etc.) and a price range for housing would help as well.

We are conservative. He doesn't mind driving 30-40 mins. Our budget would probably be somewhere around 900- 1150 per month

Look south of the VA or well west.
