They are OK. Isn't American Legend building there still ? That's who I would go with.

I agree with Rakin. K. Hovnanian homes are OK, average builder.

Good builder, nicely packaged homes at rather reasonable price. I don't perticulary like this subdivision.

I am personally a fan of KHOV homes. I've sold many many and they have never messed up anything. Treated clients with the greatest respect, very energy efficient, they go above and beyond at reasonable prices. Great communication with the clients and myself about progress and meetings etc.

American Legend has a few lots left but they are super small 49 X 113. They are much higher than KHOV too unless they changed their pricing in the last 2 weeks.

This is the city of McKinney but Frisco ISD BTW and a tax rate of 2.36

Westridge has several sections, the Greens, the Heights, the Fairways, the villas (which are townhomes) & the Summit.

Thanks all. I made a site visit yesterday and did like American Legenda better than Hovnanian homes.

How is First Texas homes in comparison with American legends. I am comparing Heights at West Ridge against Fossil Hills - First Texas Homes. This has Little Elm ZIP CODE with Frisco IDD. Is there a risk of schools getting re-zoned in this case in future? Any inputs on First Texas and this Fossil Hill community is very much appreicated.

Thanks!

Lennar is not a quality builder. I would buy an older house built by a solid builder instead of buying a new Lennar house. I've heard good things about KHOV, when they moved to DFW they bought Goodman which was one of the finest local builder.

School districts, ISDs, never change. The local school boundary may move as pop changes happen but it's still the same ISD.

Nothing wrong with Lennar for the money. KHov did buy Goodman but that's been years ago and very little of the old company influence remains. Different company today.
