I am interested in one of the lots there and looking to buy one and build a home. I went around the neighborhood and saw a lot of empty land around the independence pkwy.

I am also concerned about my commute to Addison (where i work) especially during peak hours.

Can someone provide some suggestions on how the neighborhood is and are there close by grocery and other shopping centers. Also, I dont want to take tollway to commute and would like to know whether 121 and preston is the best route to take.

I would appreciate all the feedback as I am very close to making a decision.

Coit (Lot less lights) would actually be a better commute to 121 service road to the Tollway's service road instead of Preston from The Arbors than Independence. Experiment with coit further south too. Part of the land on the SW area is part of the Brinkman Ranch which will remain a ranch for a long time. Both Independence and Coit will experience growth just like other parts have.

That would be a long commute.

Your closest shopping for groceries etc. would be the Super Kroger at Custer and Eldorado.

Great builder BTW,

Good luck,

Naima

Thanks for the feedback. Do you guys know if there is going be more development around the area? I see so much empty land and that concerns me. I know American legend and Highland are building there but how is the neighborhood overall.

Yes there will be more development. That's too good of location for builders not to Build.

It will probably be some Moderate to expensive homes because of the high cost of the land.

I know right..and we staying put right here on Independence if we can. I did travel up to virgina..but that creepy trailor area turned me off. Is that next to westridge or a little up the way. But once I made the right and hit Stonebridge ranch area..it really was pretty with the cobblestone. Anything past Eldorado would be just too far.

Any reviews on stonelake, sorrano developments?

I only go up Independence occasionally. Where is this trailer you speak of? We take Virginia over to Preston when a Babes fix is needed(reminds of Grandmas cooking). It's still an unlined bumpy FM type road west of Independence.

Coit will be finished all the way to Prosper soon.

Its not really a trailer park, but an old run down neighborhood which is on the right side going North after the Firehouse before hitting Virginia.
