It just boggles my mind that people would go with an unknown builder in a far flung area just so they can have a new cookie cutter. amazing!

I find their homes finish defnitely better than First Texas Homes which has wide spread presence.

Smaller builders at times do a better job than large scale builders. I was looking to see if anyone had a personal experience and any feedback

Clearly the market disagrees with you as over 130k people live in both Frisco and McKinney.

Your post is neither helpful or constructive. The OP didn't ask for an opinion on living in Frisco or McKinney or for your opinion on building a new home in either place. Try to stay on topic or stay out of the thread.

OP, I haven't heard of Dunhill. Have you checked with your realtor? Rakin and NSumner are well thought of here and worth checking with them on the builder.

Actually I agree, there are two many new/recently joined posters here that remind me of our old pal gripewater...nothing helpful, only put downs, an critiques. Look its only thing if you don't agree on what someone is doing.but there is a saying... "If you have nothing nice to say...don't say it at all"

I've heard of them the last few years but never dealt with them. It appears they are now building in Las Vegas also.

A little bit about them:

I stand by my point. It worries me that people make these risky decisions. I dealt with foreclosures and too many good people lost their homes and good credit. I don't really care if someone's "feelings" are hurt, if my comment makes them think twice about the risk.

I'm willing to bet, this is Gripewater under a new username.
