For a long distance move (NY-TX). I called both and Pack Rat had a better rate by $200. I called PODS back and when I asked if they could match the price, the woman laughed at me...saying there is no comparison, PODS is better. When I asked her why, she had to put me on hold to get a script to tell me why a POD container was better than a Pack Rat container. When she read the short list, I really wasn't convinced.
