Mexico. I like Florida and we do make the drive but I really like Mexico. There is a Schlitterbahn South Padre Resort that is nice. The breach was pretty good. The water was clear. And you could always go to the two fresh water parks as well.

Agree on Key West beaches and most any beach in the Keys if you are looking for natural sand beaches. Any sand beach in the Keys is man made with trucked in sand. The Keys are still beautiful though!

Another favorite Florida beach is Longboat Key near Sarasota.

Tamera, found a very nice lake beach for you. Eisenhower State Park at Lake Texoma. We went yesterday. The swimming area is very pretty. I was surprised.

Really! I was wondering why not many people mentioned Lake Texoma.. I am going to have to check Eisenhower State Park!

Skip Texas this June. Maybe by July the Sargasso seaweed will by gone. Now it is horrible and smells. yechhh.
