Garland, TX
We currently pay gas and electric seperately. Now 6 months later our apartment is combining our gas and electric and added ALOC to our bill. Can this be done without notice, 30 days prior to our bill being due or them changing this. They said the gas won't be more then $15 per month but we are now seeing on our bill LOC for gas which is now $79 a month from $45 a month. Pleas help...

If your apt complex controls the right to be your source for gas and electric than yes--
which is why I always recommend you check that YOU as renter get to choose your utility provider--
regarding the time frame itself--that I am not familiar with--

What does your lease say? Do you have anything in writing regarding the governance of utilities?

35 water, 15 gas then electric is separate. The lease states they have to give us 90 day written notice and didn't.
