Hello, I am relocating for a job in Grapevine in a couple of weeks. This was a very sudden job offer and I am stressed out to no belief!

I am looking for an apartment that is in a safe area and affordable (max rent $800). I am looking for either a one bedroom or two bedroom that allows cats. I have no children, so schools aren't a concern. I don't care about nightlife or entertainment. I just want some place that is of easy access to grocery stores. I want a decent apartment, not too fancy or worn down. I would also like to stay close to the city so I don't have a long commute. Any advice as to where to avoid and where to look would be greatly appreciated!

I live in Grapevine.

According to a quick online search, there are several apartments here (or in the nearby cities of Euless and Bedford) that allow cats and have one bedrooms under $800. All three of these cities are safe, close to your work, and have plenty of shopping options. Northeast Tarrant County in general is a great place to live, and I hope you like it here!

One quick note: DO NOT live in apartments on/near Mustang Drive in Grapevine. They are neither nice nor safe.
Dove Road and Park is a great area.
