And of course these responses assume that the OP understands the difference between "city of Dallas" and "Dallas ISD" which are two different things.

Blue Ribbon Lakewood, Stonewall, Hexter - Robert E. Lee and Lipscomb are slated become IB schools but that will take a couple of years at least. Also Mata Montessori opens this fall, a magnet for the Long Middle and Woodrow Wilson HS feeder pattern (already IB World Schools). Mata will be applying for international certification (not the same as International Baccalaureate). These are in my area.

I believe up north that Withers and DeGolyer are highly regarded.

These are all in Richardson ISD and Plano ISD with addresses in the city of Dallas. OP wasn't clear about city of Dallas or Dallas ISD.
