Looking to buy in Woodbridge possibly. Which city will have the better schools? Anything else to consider when deciding between the two cities in that neighborhood?

What's your budget? Resale in woodbridge is generally higher in Wylie ISD when compared to Garland ISD. Sachse gives you better access to George Bush, Wylie gives more bang for your buck in terms of how much house you can buy, both are somewhat lacking in the retail that you would see in Frisco/Plano/Allen. Other than that, both are safe cities with decent (but not great) schools. You would be happy in either city. That being said, if your budget is over $300K I would dump both and go to Murphy (Plano ISD). Right down the street from both so it wont affect commute.

Looking for 300-350. Will be working in Richardson.

I've searched Murphy but haven't found much new construction.

If you'd be willing to do Wylie ISD in Woodbridge, you could consider Maxwell Creek in Murphy. There's plenty of new construction there and in the Gables and Ranch neighborhoods.

So Murphy is a better option than Woodbridge?

Look at East Richardson 75082. Right next door to Sacshe, Plano schools. Probably within your budget.

I would be leary of spending $350K in woodbridge. You would be at the top of the bracket there. Yeah you wont find new construction in Murphy (PISD) for $350 anymore, but the houses wont be too old either. Well worth the investment for resale value down the line.
