No I'm home pretty much all day, I work from home, so it's always cool in here.

In the Dallas area, it is not uncommon to have foundation problems. We have experience some severe drought conditions and slab foundations shift or crack.

If your AC unit is in the attic, make sure the water pan for evaporation is not blocked.

You said the house was freshly painted, the possibility the painters used a very watered down paint and sprayed it on. This can loosen the tape from the joints.

Semi-older home built in 1993. Nothing acting strange with the doors. I feel as though the home has been freshly painted recently. We bought it just a month ago. I have noticed other cracks though as in the patio, and now by the garage, I haven't shot those photos yet. I'm calling someone to come out tomorrow from a foundation company, I'm hoping he can shed some light on this.
Don't take the word of a salesperson with a foundation company as 100% correct. If the salesperson says you need foundation work, get a second opinion from a licensed structural engineer who specializes in evaluating foundations. There are a lot of scams out there.

In that case I'm with jdallas; get up in the attic, assuming you are able, making sure you don't have a water leak.

1. Check the condensation drain(s) from your AC unit(s). You should see a small white PVC pipe with and open top that sticks up above the level of the drain pan. Use a soft wire or Zip-it device to clear any blockage from the U shaped portion below the opening. Then carefully pour a warm mix if 75% warm water 25% Clorox down the opening, the Clorox water mixture should drain into a sink drain on the first floor - do this for each AC unit.

2. Check your water heater(s) for any leaks be sure and inspect the inbound water line as well. The pans beneath your water heater(s) should be dry.

We had our house repainted on inside and they also painted the garage interior including the ceiling--they sprayed and sprayed too heavy--the tape got wet and started peeling...
we also had cracks in the tape around the breakfast room bay window in the kitchen with like 11 narrow windows that went up to joint in raised ceiling...
cracks developed where the tape dried and and eventually it started to peel...

when we had the house remodeled years later a different crew was able to take the tape off, remud/tape the seams and no issues with cracking from foundation issues...

Maybe just a tape/bed issue?

Small cracks are normal in Dallas area its when they are big cracks and doors won't close that you need to check. You also should make sure that you water your foundation in summer.
