Our family will be moving to the N. Dallas area from NY next summer (hubby will work in Coppell), and our first order of business is to find a Christian school for our kids that we love. They will be in 6th and 9th grades. They currently go to a small school and we want to find the same small (ish), nurturing, family atmosphere. We visited Carrollton Christian and liked it a lot, we also checked out Trinity Christian and felt it was a bit large for our liking, and would really like to have a few more good options to explore before we come out again in a few months.
Our issue is that we really liked the Flower Mound area, as everything else felt so congested. Granted, we were only there a few days and didn't see as much as we wanted to. Flower Mound is too far from Carrollton Christian to drive the kids back and forth, as I understand there is no private school busing out there. I need to either find a neighborhood similar to Flower Mound near Carrollton, or find a school that we love near Flower Mound.
Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!

Look into Argyle; Liberty Christian School is highly regarded by some friends. And, Argyle has a highly rated pubic school system

My next door neighbors send their kids to Covenant Christian in Coleyville. We live in Grapevine, which is also close to Coppell. Grapevine also has Faith Christian which is very well regarded.

Thank you Christie P! I guess I should add that our home budget will be somewhere between 300K-400K if that helps with neighborhood suggestions.

I pass by a HUGE Christian school every day in Carrollton, or maybe its street address is Plano...I'm not sure where one city ends and the other begins, but it's right near Midway and 190, just west of DNT. I think it's called Prince of Peace and it's a Lutheran school? I think?

It is Christian Prince of Peace, and yes it is a Lutheran school. It is probably one of the best in the area.

Not sure what flavor of Christian you're specifically looking for, but in addition to Liberty Christian & Grapevine Faith, Coram Deo Academy and Lakeland Christian Academy are worth a look in the Flo Mo area.

Colleyville will have some homes in that price range. So will Grapevine, but it will have more to choose from.

Thanks for confirming that. It looks flippin' enormous, though to be honest I haven't paid THAT much attention to it since I'm not a gentile or a parent.

OP! OP! Check out that school!
