I've been doing long-distance research about rental homes in Grapevine and I can find only a very limited number of them. It is just a bad time of year to be looking? Or is there some sort of ban on rental homes by neighborhood associations or something?

I don't want to buy a house in a hurry because the last time my family did that, it was a disaster. This time, I want to become better acquainted with an area by living there before buying a house.

What is the best place to look other than the Dallas Morning News and Craig's List?

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Topaz

Work with a Realtor... there are 28 homes listed for rent in Grapevine as of today.

That is a wise choice to rent before you buy too.

I've never lived in a part of the country where rental homes are in the MLS rather than advertised somewhere with free access. Thanks for the info.

Send me a private message and I'll give you the info on a realty company that rents a LOT of Grapevine homes. FWIW, they use MLS to list them, too!

Default Moving to Grapevine from Cincinnati, OHIO

Christie,
I, too, am moving to Grapevine this summer. If it's not too much of an inconvenience, would you forward me the name of a Realtor that I could contact to find a rental home there. I'm struggling to find anything of value, as far as home rentals go, via the internet. Thanks a million!

Default Rental homes in Grapevine

There aren't a lot of nice inexpensive rental properties in Grapevine. The information on this website from 2000 is VERY outdated. My family of 3 rent a 3 bedroom 1800 sq ft home for $1500.00 a month. Things have changed since 2000. I always use this site when searching for rental property. They have an easy search tool that I think is basically MLS listings. You could also check out Craigs List and the Fort Worth Star Telegram Classifieds. Good Luck on your search.

Go to realtor.com, click on advanced search, then click on "rentals".

You can search by city or zip.
