Hello everyone,

I searched this topic on the forum and wasn’t able to find anything so I just wanted to throw this out there to see what people had to say. I’m a fairly new homeowner and I have a three car garage that has about 19’6” of depth, I have a Ford F150 that technically fits in the garage (19’4”….literally an inch on each side) but it’s inevitable that I’m going to hit the sheetrock at some point. I took some basic measurements and it looks as though I have about 10 inches with the sheetrock and what I assume is insulation behind it. My question is has anyone renovated their garage to accommodate a bigger vehicle (Texas size truck, boat…whatever) and if so are you happy with the outcome?

I would be fine with literally pushing a section of the wall back a few inches to allow for easier parking, I don’t think this would be a big deal but I thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone had any experience with this. I appreciate any thoughts or insight, hope everyone is having a great and relaxing holiday weekend.
