Yesterday's DMN said that Frisco ISD's enrollment is right behind Plano ISD's. 50,000 for FISD to 53,000 for PISD.

So, ALL of Frisco should be only slightly behind ALL of Plano to be equivalent; however, 27 to 78 is NOWHERE close.

With Frisco's demographics, they should be WAAAAYYYYYYYY ahead.

Liberty's results are impressive. Nice to see decent number after a long time. Hope other Frisco schools step up next year.

Still nothing from Dallas ISD?? Is it possible they didn't have any NMSF this year?? I find that hard to believe but the silence is strange.

Exactly and Frisco ISD's NMSF percentage of last 5 years is always very very low compared to Plano and most of their schools have been around for many years. Plano is almost built out. Frisco is going to be a bigger district and though individual schools may do well, it's the whole ISD that counts. You never know in Frisco when are you going to get rezoned.

Thank you! I wanted to run the numbers but haven't had time. I assume this is 9-12 students, and you divide that by 4 to get the NMSF percentage (or similar methodology)? Seeing Carroll #2 on the list (behind only NMSF-dominating Flower Mound) brings a smile to my face. Historically they've lagged Plano/Coppell in percentage IIRC.

Frisco Liberty is making great strides. Frisco as a whole still trails Plano, but maybe they are changing that. I'll be the first to give them credit if they do. That NMSF %age is impressive indeed.

Lovejoy's %age has to be disappointing to residents.

Also, props to GCISD, with an overall 1.75% using your numbers. Only a touch behind Plano at 1.92% and ahead of most every district (HP and Coppell in addition to the 2 noted).

Thanks for putting this together. Minor correction. Flower Mound NMSF are 34. The % class will be slightly different for all schools since the student count is not same across all 4 years. For eg: % class for Flower Mound High School is 4.2% based on class enrollment of 802 for the class of 2015.

And still not a one from Woodrow, despite all the hype about the IB program, all of these "top" students from around the district (and private schools and the metroplex) transferring into the school because of it's all-out awesomeness......

It's really bad. I'll eat crow when necessary and after ragging on Frisco's academics for the past 5+ years, they finally have 1 high school that is putting up pretty good NMSF %. When - if ever - will Woodrow get there??
