I have a vintage aluminum pot, very specific to a vintage stove that I just bought. The pot is nearly irreplaceable, but needs a new bottom. I would like to have a new bottom welded in.

I am looking for a welder who can weld aluminum in Dallas, Desoto, Lancaster, Waxahachie, Red Oak, or nearby areas.

Thanks

Could you use a two part epoxy or maybe waterproof JB-Weld? Welding old aluminum is very risky especially if the aluminum is thin. Obviously, if this something you plan to heat water in or cook with any glue is out.

Yes, I would be cooking in it, so that is out. The alumuinum is nice and thick, not like a soda can.
