trying to buy a used grand piano (sale, community college)

I want to buy a decent 5' to 6' baby grand piano. It's for my daughter to take lessons on and for me to start playing again. I just need a good hobby/amateur piano and want to spend no more than $2500. There are listings on craiglist but those people don't respond to emails most of the time, or the good deals go fast--in less than 24 hours before I can get out of work and go look at it. So, my question for here, is do you have a 5' to 6' grand piano you'd like to sell in my price range or know anyone who does or any good alternatives to craiglist? The piano stores mark up their used inventory too much. I am also willing to rebuild an old piano if it's the right brand/quality but then it must be less than $1k.

Collin County Community College Music Department has a piano sale every year I think. You can call them to see when is the next one. I think it is usually held in August so you might have missed this year's event.
