Our backyard has a slight slope downwards away from the house. We have a back alley way so our neighbor behind us can somewhat see into our yard and vice versa. We have the option of upgrading to 8ft fencING all around (however, we are sharing one side with a neighbor whose house is already finished and we'd need to ask them), or doing a gradual step method where just the back side of our yard would be 8 ft. The sides would gradually incline from 6ft to 8 to counteract the slope. This is also the cheaper solution too at $13/ft from the builder.

What would you do?

There's always the option of landscaping too I suppose, but that'll take some time.
