After the final inspection of a new constructed house, can a family move in or should it be appraised first?
I've been helping my parents in there building of a new house next to mind. And it has been a long processes, but we're at the final stage. Need help with this matter and I should of asked for help sooner for many other issues a long the way but I, we, learned the hard way.

You should

1. Get an inspection right before...
2. Do a walk through prior to closing with the builder.
3. Close at the title company.

Your lender would have ordered the appraisal. They may send him back out to verify completion.
Have you made loan application ?

The Builder gets the occupancy permit so you can close and move in.
