A lot of cities have their own convention and visitors bureaus. Their purpose is to book events like yours. Have you tried contacting them? I know Frisco and McKinney both have them.

Southfork Ranch has a HUGE event facility. I've been to some lovely corporate events there in the past.

Hello keribeth818, I did try both the city's as well as Plano's. Everything they referred has been booked up. All of the school gyms are booked for basketball tournaments. Thanks though.

Southfork is booked up for that weekend, but the rental fee is so cheap compared to some other places. Wish we had booked this ahead of time. Well...

But they have three open pavilions and if weather permits I do not mind it but have to present it to the board and decide.
