Hello, does anyone know how the commute is from Waxahachie to Downtown Dallas?

It really depends on the time of day you plan to commute and road conditions. Travelling north on I-35E from Waxahachie to downtown Dallas would generally take 30 to 45 minutes:

Morning/Evening Rush (Good weather, no traffic accidents/road work): Approximately 35-45 Minutes
Off-Peak Hours (Good weather, no traffic accidents/road work): Approximately 30-40 Minutes

Traffic accidents, road work, inclement weather, or a combination of all three could add another 10-20 minutes to the estimated commute times. The traffic tie-ups are more frequent north of the I-35E/I-20 intersection into downtown Dallas.

Traveling from the south burbs to DT is better than from the north burbs. If living in a xurb is ur pref, then that's prolly a much better choice than Mckinney.
